Unfortunately, I am not yet in a position to 'retire' from actual work and the past couple of days I've had only minimal time to devote to racing due to early morning starts. The little time I've had though has produced a small profit mainly due to the dismal performances of fancied runners at Newmarket. Some of the Ascot form for runners at Newmarket is looking really dodgy and there were a few opportunities yesterday to take advantage of the fact as in Elzaam and Tazeez. It pays to scratch a little deeper in the form lines when assessing the chances of the odds on jollies!
Theres HUGE interest here in Australia in Nicconi at Newmarket later... I'll be having a little on the place market at decent odds.
