Glorious Galway!

After looking at the fields for yesterdays afternoon racing I decided to hit the sack early and get up in time for the Galway meeting. Traditionally, Galway is a real punters haven where it pays to follow the money and take serious note of any bit of a gamble going on so I was all eyes to how the markets were behaving. I wasn't particularly looking to become part of any gamble.. just looking to avoid anything that might have alot of money riding on it thus becoming a decent lay option. Surprisingly the whole card was relatively straightforward in Galway terms and outside of the obvious Weld factor, there weren't many movers at all. What about that man Weld.. He never fails to come up with something at Galway.
I did manage to trade in and out of quite a few of the market leaders with multiple lays per race to post a decent profit for the day and indeed I actually managed to pass my months target with a little bit to spare. Hopefully more of the same later today!

I've found a couple to oppose today at Goodwood in the shapes of Rebel Soldier in the 2.45 and Big Issue in the 5.05.
Rebel Soldier is well fancied but getting the distance is an issue in my mind and this is a big step up for the animal too. Worth taking on at 3/1.
Big Issue might just find a couple with experience too good here and being unraced and set to go off at about 2/1, its one I'll be taking on... I fancy Straight Line to win this one.

Good luck today!
