A needle in a haystack.........

Newmarket.
I'll be avoiding playing much here today.
Too many good beasts, good prizemoney and large fields tend to suit the gamblers amongst us and not an ideal meeting for us conservative layers.
Looking at angles from a layers perspective.... if you take five and six year old favourites, historically their strike rate is poor enough compared to the average so I will possibly look at laying any favourite that meets the age criteria.

Catterick.

Found an interesting stat for Catterick in July meets.. There have been 37 Favourites with an sp in the 2-1 to 11-4 price range of which 5 have won at a 13.5% strike rate returning only 51.0% at BetfairSP. Thats good laying territory. Will certainly be targeting this angle today.

Lingfield.

Would you believe that Lingfield in July has a similar stat to Catterick as above?
Favourites in the 2-1 to 11-4 sp range had 11 winners from 65 runners at 16.9% strike rate with a 61.3% return. Again, strong laying territory.

Hope these figures can steer you in the right direction today.

Happy hunting!
