Tuesdays racing at Ponte and Wolves went somewhat as expected so I had a decent day in the end coming out well on top to improve the bank balance. As I thought, the favourites again had a tough time of it at both tracks and I managed to choose the correct lay options in the majority of my lay selections.
At the end of the afternoon racing the profit was over $200 and with a relatively early start (for me!) coming up this morning, I left the evening meets alone.... If only UK racing started at a resonable Aussie time!!!
I have noticed on the timeform facebook forum that a fair selection of the posters are Australian which is interesting. The amount of late nights needed to make a decent crust is enourmous so I'm guessing that there are a lot of Aussie punters either A: not working or B: asleep at their desks for a good portion of the working day. Personally, I can juggle my part time working hours to suit so I'ts not really an issue but I would love to hear from some of you Aussies that burn the candle at both ends..... how do you do it??
I'll be back later with some stats for wednesdays racing.
