Slim pickings.......

Living on the Gold Coast in Queensland certainly has its advantages with year round sunshine and access to some of the most pristine beaches and glorious surf in Australia. Unfortunately, friends and family tend to be attracted to this and my place, at times, becomes a hotel especially during the school holidays. The weekend past had us entertaining the multitudes and their offspring causing me to miss out on quite a bit of the weekend action.
UK racing begins in my house at aroundabout eleven pm each night but when we have guests(?), I'm usually too buggered or too pissed (usually both!!) by eleven to even think of playing the markets, hence I only managed to get a few races in on Sunday night which returned a profit .. only a small one but a profit nonetheless.
Last nights action was better returning $145 from the first race through to about one a.m. by which time the heavy weekend had caught up with me and I found myself dozing off between races ... must be getting old!

Tonights action from Wolverhampton and Pontefract could throw up a few good selections especially for those trading on favourites. Read the next post for some interesting stats.
