Don't know what it is with mondays but it seems to be an exceptionally difficult day to make decent money in this game. I think that the liquidity in the market has alot to do with it... the less money the harder it is to get your price matched, especially in running.
Monday might become my regular day off if there are no decent races about. OK... descision made. Mondays are a rest day for me from now on unless there are good quality races happening.
Made a very slight loss of $30 over eight races. Just could not get in front and bailed out in the end with plenty races left.. just did not seem to be 'with it' at all. Thankfully theres allways the next day!!!
Just read your profile and how can you be miserable? Living in sunny Queensland and punting on the UK racing via the net - brilliant! What time of day does the UK racing take place in Aussie? I thought it would be in the middle of the night (aren't you 12 hours ahead of us here).
ReplyDeleteWell.. ok.. I must admit it is kind of nice to know that a swim in the pool is something that we can do here eleven months of the year!! The time difference is either 9 or ten hours, depending on daylight saving. A 2pm race in the uk is eleven here so most nights I can get a good few races in... my only serious committment in the mornings is getting the kids to school so even if I go till 2 am, I can still get five or so hours sleep.
